Studies show that one in five kids has difficulty learning to read. Studies also show that reading is an early indicator of academic success.

1000BooksB4K promotes bonding through reading and encourages parents to  read to infants, toddlers and children.

The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge is a simple. All you have to do is read together. Read a book, any book to your child, with the goal of reading 1,000 before kindergarten.

One book a day is 365 books in one year, 730 in two years, and 1095 in three years!
