Our Vision

The Wilson County Public Libraries (WCPL) provide access to social and cultural ideas by offering a wide variety of materials and programs for educational, recreational, and informational needs. The Libraries have a special mission to encourage a love of lifelong learning, as well as developing broad community awareness of our services. The needs of our community drive our services as we take a personal interest in ensuring that those needs are delivered in a safe, welcoming, convenient, and responsive manner.

Wilson County Public Libraries

Wilson County Public Libraries consists of three library branches:

the Sam Fore Jr. Public Library in Floresville, the Sarah Bain Chandler Library in Stockdale, and the Jane Yelvington McCallum Library in La Vernia.
