The following is a partial listing of agencies, chambers of commerce and associations which have a variety of programs to assist the small business community in the State of Texas and the Wilson County area.

The Bexar County Small, Minority, and Women Owned Business Enterprise Program - Strives to increase small, minority, and women owned businesses in Bexar County projects and procurements through the integration of public, non-profit, and private sector efforts and resources.

Texas Economic Development - Receive guidance on starting a small business from the Texas Office of the Governor’s Small Business Development Center

Small Business Administration - has delivered millions of loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling sessions, and other forms of assistance to small businesses.

UTSA Small Business Development Center - Entrepreneurs have access to professional and confidential business advising, a variety of quality training programs, and an extensive referral network at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Floresville Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) - The mission of the FEDC is to improve the business environment and overall economic opportunity for Floresville through targeted business attraction, real estate development, community promotion, collaborative partnerships with business and develop the historical sites to improve tourism in the area.
